Juan Andrés Misle

Juan Andrés Misle has an M.A. in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies from the George Washington University with concentrations in security and political science. During his graduate studies, he was an editor at the George Washington University’s International Affairs Review. His research interests include international conflict resolution, transitional justice, migration, and social movements in the Americas. He graduated with a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Florida. In 2019, he joined the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) and by late 2020, he co-created RADIO CARECEN DC, a community-based podcast. The views expressed in Veneco are those of Mr. Misle and/or his guests, and do not necessarily represent those of his current or past employers. He migrated from his native Venezuela to the United States in 2003.
